Christian A. Quintana, Manager and Funeral Director - Emmerson-Bartlett Redlands and Yucaipa, and Ingold
FDR #2098
"A man can succeed at almost anything for which he has unlimited enthusiasm"
Charles Schwab
Christian grew up in San Bernardino, California the eldest of five children in a devoutly Hispanic family. Christian originally aspired to be a psychologist, studying psychology at Citrus Community College in Glendora, CA.
In a twist of fate, Christian started working at Oakdale Memorial Park in Glendora, while attending Citrus College. During the next several years he worked visitations in the evening while going to school full time. While working at Oakdale Memorial Park, Christian worked as a night-attendant, an office clerk and finally ended his tenure at Oakdale Memorial Park as a funeral director.
After 6 years at Oakdale Memorial Park, Christian decided to pursue a career in the funeral industry.
After working in the corporate structure, Christian realized the importance of a family-owned environment. In December of 1999, he started working at Arcadia Chapel of Remembrance for Terry J. Harmon. It was then that Christian believed that one man’s success can only help another man’s success. Christian followed Terry’s tracks and he found in Terry someone that would help him lay down a path for him to follow. Essentially what happens when you begin to do what you love is that you get a new sense of spirit. Spirit always pays us in proportion to how hard we work.
In 2004, Christian received a number of compelling nominations and was honored as the Young Funeral Director of the Year Award from the California Funeral Directors Association (CFDA).
The award was presented to Christian because of his personal dedication and significant contributions to the profession of funeral service.
Christian went on to pursue and get his Limited Life Insurance license and is currently the general agent for Caring Funeral Services, he has his crematory managers license and is a Notary Public for the state. Christian currently serves as the manager of Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel in Redlands, where he helps to oversee the everyday operations of Terry Harmon’s family owned and operated funeral home, and his involvement in the Orange Belt Funeral Director’s Association has given him the opportunity to serve as the current secretary/treasure for the association.
Christian has a firm commitment to the families he serves and to the community in which he works.
Christian is most proud of his devotion to his beautiful wife, Monica and his four adoring children, Alexis,
Adrian, Andres & Anahi.
