Christopher Dufrenne, General Manager - Desert View

Christopher entered into funeral service in June of 1976 at Draper Mortuary in Ontario, California as an apprentice embalmer. He worked for the Draper family, until the acquisition of their family owned mortuary by Service Corporation International in October of 1996. He was the Assistant Manager there at the time of his departure.

He left Draper Mortuary in June of 2000 to work for Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside, California as Funeral Director. He left there in October of 2006 to work for Desert View Funeral Home in Victorville. He is Past President of the Orange Belt Funeral Director's Association (orangebelt.org). He has been married for 26 years to his wife and best friend, Laurie, who serves as a Funeral Associate at the same facility. They have two adult sons, Adam and Mark.

Laurie and Christopher purchased a home in Victorville in 1994, and have called Victorville home ever since. They began attending High Desert Church in Victorville shortly upon moving there.

Christopher has some background in ministry, and was licensed with the Assemblies of God for many years, having served as Youth Pastor at Colton First Assembly of God Church, and Associate Pastor at Family Praise Fellowship in Moreno Valley.

His interests include woodworking, gardening, camping, and fishing.
