Dee Anderson, Family Service Supervisor - Desert Lawn

Dee has been in the mortuary/cemetery business since May of 1991. Fifteen years prior to her coming into the field she was a social worker in hospitals. One of her areas of responsibilities was to meet and counsel families of patients who were terminally ill. She helped them through the steps of dealing with the reality of having to make final arrangements. She was always shocked at how few people were prepared and their lack of knowledge of what needed to be done.

So for Dee, it was a natural transition into the mortuary business. She wanted to devote her full time to helping people through the steps of grief and to help with the necessary steps to complete arrangements. She can assist families at their time of need and help plan pre-arrangements in the mortuary and cemetery.
