Shane Dietsche, Funeral Coordinator - Reardon Simi Valley

Shane was born in Wisconsin and lived in Washington State from ages two to ten. In 1986 his mom, sisters, and he moved to Moorpark, California. He has been a Ventura County resident ever since. He has a son named Jack who lives with him part time here at Reardon in the apartment above the mortuary. He found his niche in the funeral industry during the summer of 2005. A friend worked for another company for years and kept encouraging him to apply for a full time removal and transfer position that they desperately needed to fill. After a couple months of him calling Shane almost weekly, he finally interviewed, got hired, and spent just over four years with the company — moving up to briefly manage one of their care centers before coming here. A chance encounter and a great offer led Shane to his current position at Reardon where he hopes to continue helping families at their time of need and learn as much as possible about everything in the funeral industry.
