The new (2003) crematory is truly "state-of-the-art" and incorporates the newest technology to achieve rapid cremation with no visible evidence from the outside when the unit is in use. We have also built a witnessing room so if a family desires, they may attend the cremation process and witness as much as they choose. With the tragic happenings in other locations, Desert View made this area available for your total peace of mind.

Regardless of whether the family witnesses the cremation, it is performed with the utmost respect, and careful logs are kept of the times of all procedures. In addition, stainless steel identification tags accompany your loved one for positive identification at each step of the process.

Also in this building is a permanent disposition niche room with beveled-glass front niches. This gives you the option of placing photos and other personal items with the urn to commemorate your loved one's life, and to comfort you when you visit in the private sitting area. Families are given a key so they can visit anytime during normal cemetery hours. This is a new and very unique option, available today only at Desert View Crematory.
