Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel of Redlands has a long history in the community. The funeral home was
started by Mr. Glenn Emmerson back in 1935. The greatest accomplishment that it has gained, is that
Emmerson-Bartlett is now "Family-Owned", and no longer corporate owned. It has sustained many renovations and
add-ons to the facility... most notably; the funeral chapel. It is one of the largest chapels in the Inland
Empire today. It has just undertaken a new 3-stage air conditioning system, that can now sustain a comfortable
atmosphere for family and friends.
The funeral home has new arrangement rooms, to give a more personal touch in making decisions and finalizing a
memorial tribute. This helps ease a family's concerns about preparation of their loved ones final wishes and
services. We have the newest ideas for a "Celebration of Life", with visual suggestions to help
with floral arrangements and designs, memorial tributes, including photos on programs, memory boards, register
books, music (vocal and instumental, including bagpipes), and memorial videos for during and after the
funeral ceremony.

The foyer has been upgraded for a more Victorian soft look. It shows a unique, antique keyboard manual pump
organ, which is both up to date and an antique. The new furniture helps create a calming, classy sitting and
greeting area. The restrooms have been upgraded to meet ADA requirements.

Our cremation room is a YMS-York cremation room which helps utilize the nicest of ideas to help families with
cremation and memorial ceremonies. We have placed in the room, urns and vaults, that can accommodate the burial
disposition. We can also help the family with other options in regards to final disposition for cremated remains.
Families can still conduct "Traditional Services" either in our large chapel or at the church of their choice.
With a wide selection of cremation caskets that be used for any service and/or viewing, the cremation casket
also meets the requirement for a container for the deceased to be placed in as required for cremation to take
place. It's peace of mind to know that a direct cremation is not an only option any longer.
